Homemade Gatorade!

It’s summer, which means days are spent outside under the sun. Being out in the hot weather takes a lot out of our bodies, including our electrolytes.


Instead of reaching for Gatorade that has excessive amounts of sugar and other ingredients our bodies really don’t need, try making your own sports drink! They’re quick, easy, and you probably have all of the ingredients right at home already!

Orange Gatorade:

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed organic orange juice

  • 1 1/2 -2 cups fresh water (depending how strong you want the flavor)

  • 1/8 tsp. celtic sea salt

  • 2 tbsp. Stevia (to taste)

Lemon-Lime Gatorade:

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed organic lime juice

  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed organic lemon juice

  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups fresh water (depending how strong you want the flavor)

  • 1/8 tsp. celtic sea salt

  • 2 tbsp. Stevia (to taste)

Lemon-Orange Gatorade:

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed organic lemon juice

  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed organic orange juice

  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups fresh water (depending how strong you want the flavor)

  • 1/8 tsp. celtic sea salt

  • 2 tbsp. Stevia (to taste)

Directions: Toss everything into a blender and blend until desired consistency. Pour yourself a glass, drop in some ice cubes and enjoy!
