U.S. National Stress Awareness Day, on every first Wednesday in November — November 1 this year — is 24 hours of reinforcing the fact that you're not doing yourself a favor by stressing about situations you can't control. If you are feeling stressed, reach out to Humfeld Chiropractic and Nutrition Center about solutions and services to manage stress.
It’s crazy to think about, but the Holidays are right around the corner, and with the Holidays comes stress. Whether it be shopping for gifts, getting the family together for dinners and parties, the excessive amount of baking, whatever it is, usually the Holidays are stressful for most people. With all the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season, self-care and mental health awareness tend to get lost in all the commotion.
Today is National Stress Awareness Day – just in time for our Effects of Stress webinar we are hosting tomorrow evening! Take today to identify and reduce the stress factors in your life and make time to develop a routine to lessen the tension once the Holiday stress begins.
Take some time, today, to go for a walk, do some deep breathing, get some exercise or a massage, or take a relaxing bath or shower. Even if you don’t feel stressed currently, taking just a few minutes to practice these and focus on your mental health will greatly help when the stress does pile on.
